If you are involved in a real estate transaction, you are a target for cyber-criminals. They can hack into email accounts and direct you to wire money to the hacker’s account, or they can send an email that appears to be from your agent, lender, title company or another trusted source.
Please, NEVER wire any money to Rosner Settlement Services without first calling me to verify the wiring instructions.
When calling to verify, do NOT use the phone number from an email directing you to wire funds. Make sure you verify the phone number from an independent source to
make sure you are actually talking to me or one of my colleagues.
